For over a decade, OIRAN JAPAN has built LED lighting for Japanese heavy trucks — more than 300,000 units sold, over 150,000 customers, a network of 170+ distributors, and eight industry awards. In 2024, we started shipping to Europe.
Why Europe, why now
European trucking has its own deep custom culture, and the questions European drivers ask us are the ones Japanese drivers asked a decade ago: brighter, cleaner, better-built rear lighting that installs without cutting into the factory loom. Our appearance at the Profile Truckstar Festival in the Netherlands in July 2024 confirmed it — the interest is real, and it runs both ways.
The first lamp: OIRAN LED 32
We chose a deliberately practical opener. The OIRAN LED 32 is a compact multifunction tail lamp — running, brake, turn signal and reverse in one 125 × 143 × 62 mm unit with 32 LEDs, 12V/24V compatible and ESS-ready. It is the smaller sibling of the OIRAN LED 46, the lamp that started our brand.
How our lamps are built
Every OIRAN tail lamp uses thermocompression (heat-press) bonding: the lens and housing are fused rather than glued or gasketed, which is how we achieve long-term water resistance on vehicles that live outdoors. Lenses are PMMA, housings polycarbonate, and certified models carry engraved ECE E-marks, with certification numbers published on each product page.

Distributor support
European customers can request distributor support through OIRAN JAPAN, and our compatibility sheets map lamps to the correct harness and resistor part numbers by truck model. If you run a shop and want OIRAN products on the shelf, we are actively adding European retail partners — apply here.
What comes next
We will keep the promises small and the cadence steady: more ECE-certified models, broader compatibility coverage, and a regular presence at European truck shows. The goal is simple — that when a European trucker thinks about rear lighting worth signing a truck with, OIRAN JAPAN is on the shortlist.
