Swap a filament bulb for an LED and the truck notices: current draw falls, and the bulb cut-off warning light comes on. This load resistor restores the electrical load the circuit expects, cancelling the warning at its source — no error, no guesswork at the dash.

It works with brake lamps, small (position) lamps and turn signal lamps. Five variants cover different lamp circuits and truck models; the right resistor depends on your vehicle, so check the OIRAN compatibility sheet before ordering.
