A truck's presence starts where it touches the road.

OIRAN forged aluminum wheels are 19.5-inch, one-piece forged truck wheels, certified to the JWL-T and VIA standards and offered in two distinct finishes: Chrome Plated and Shiny Bright. Here is what those words actually mean — and the full specification.

Forged, one-piece

Most alloy truck wheels are cast: molten aluminum poured into a mold. Ours are forged — a single aluminum billet pressed into shape under enormous force. Forging aligns the metal's grain structure, which generally allows higher strength from less material. The result is a one-piece wheel with no welds, weighing approximately 18.7 kg.

JWL-T and VIA, explained

  • JWL-T (Japan Light Alloy Wheel — Truck) is the Japanese technical standard for light-alloy wheels on trucks and buses, with heavier test requirements than the passenger-car JWL mark.
  • VIA is the registration mark of Japan's Vehicle Inspection Association, indicating the wheel design has passed third-party testing to that standard.

In practice, both marks are what allow a light-alloy truck wheel to pass Japanese vehicle inspection. Ours carry both.

Two finishes, two part numbers

These are separate purchasable versions, not one combined coating:

  • Chrome Plated — the classic mirror finish. Part No. OT-M1-195 (JAN 4560329695678). Warranty: 1 year from date of shipment.
  • Shiny Bright — our proprietary bright coating. Part No. OT-S1-195 (JAN 4589888755661). Warranty: 5 years from date of production or 1 year from date of shipment, whichever is longer.

Fitment and specification

The 8-hole New ISO fitment covers many Japanese medium-duty trucks, but bolt pattern and hub clearance must be confirmed against your specific vehicle before installation — contact us with your truck's make, model and year and we will verify. Verified specifications for both finishes are on the OIRAN ALUMINUM WHEELS product page.

Lighting, detail and road presence — the wheels carry the third one.
